SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES
London topaz
London topaz is a semi-precious stone with a smoky blue color, the brightest variety of topaz. It is one of the most popular stones in the world. In nature, topazes of such a rich shade are not found, they are obtained by radiation irradiation of colorless topazes in a nuclear reactor. For the first time, scientists from London managed to give topaz this color, which is reflected in its name.
Sky blue topaz
Sky blue topaz is a semi-precious stone of translucent color. Extensive deposits of topaz are located in the Urals, for which the stone is even nicknamed "Siberian diamond".
Amethyst
Amethyst, due to its hue, is the most expensive variety of quartz. It has a bluish, violet-pink color. In nature, it is found in the form of crystals with a rhombus shape in cross-section, which is not characteristic of other quartz.
Rock crystal
Rock crystal is a colorless transparent quartz, found in the form of well-developed crystals, and in river sediments - in the form of pebbles polished in natural conditions. The name comes from the Greek kristallos, meaning "ice", because in ancient times rock crystal was considered to be highly solidified ice.
Garnet
Garnet is a semi-precious stone of deep red color, which got its name from its resemblance to the seeds of the pomegranate fruit. Garnet is primarily associated with the color red, but there are about 15 varieties of other shades: orange, black, purple and even green. Our jewelry uses garnets of deep red and pinkish-red color - rhodolite.
Rose Quartz
Rose quartz is another popular variety of quartz. This stone has a pleasant milky pink color that is cloudy in the light. Suitable for those who like quiet jewelry in everyday wear, it looks good in wedding rings.
Chrysolite
Chrysolite (peridot) is a variety of the mineral olivine. Crystals are green, golden-green and yellow in color. In the old days, chrysolite was often called "evening emerald" because at dusk and especially by candlelight it loses its yellowish color and becomes more saturated, similar to emerald.
These semi-precious stones will be used in some Lunar Vines brand products!
